Join us to paint at the best hair salon in McMinnville! You'll learn to paint beach sunsets on postcard paper that you can send to your Valentine or keep for yourself. No experience necessary and all supplies included.

I'll teach you how to paint a beautiful beach sunset with watercolors! We will warm up by exploring our color palette and the unique colors found at sunset. I will begin by demonstrating some techniques to landscape painting in watercolor, focusing on how to get that perfect sunset gradient with the right colors. We'll then apply these skills to a full painting based on a reference photo I've provided. You're also welcome to bring your own reference photo if you'd like to make your postcard extra personal!

You'll take home a finished painting on postcard paper that is ready to stick in the mail! You'll also leave with a set of artist's skills that you'll be able to directly apply to future paintings - whether you paint in your bedroom or plein air out in nature. A limited palette of watercolors and high quality watercolor postcard paper will be provided at the event, but you are encouraged to bring your favorite painting supplies as well.
